First and foremost, on behalf of the entire Vietnamese community at NTU, I would like to send the congratulations and warmest greetings to all freshmen-to-be of Nanyang Technological University.

I am quite certain that you are now very eager to know about the life of new students studying here in Singapore. Despite of the ongoing examination period, the seniors at NTU also share your eagerness. We are looking forward to a long-waited upcoming event - FOC.

FOC, or Freshmen Orientation Camp, is a annual event held by VNNTU, with the primary purpose of assisting the freshmen to get familiar with the new environment and the Vietnamese community at NTU. FOC officially starts with the release of the University Entrance Examination's results. It will last through the summer, when your seniors from NTU guide you through the admission process in Vietnam, and end with the 2-day camp in Singapore. FOC is an opportunity for all freshmen to enjoy great games, interesting adventures, and memorable moments with one another, as well as with seniors.

News and articles about the time and activities of FOC will be posted on the VNNTU website. Please visit regularly for updated information.
We hope that you will have a great summer with your family and friends before entering the university.

About FOC 2010

FOC, or Freshmen Orientation Camp, is an annual event held by VNNTU, with the primary purpose of assisting the freshmen to get familiar with the new environment and the Vietnamese community at NTU. FOC officially starts with the release of the University Entrance Examination's results.

In June, a formal meeting will be held in June for NTU seniors and freshmen to gather and get to know each another. In this meeting, information about NTU and VNNTU will be provided to freshmen and their parents. After that, through the summer, the seniors will guide freshmen through the admission processes, along with other activities to create and increase the bonding.

On 3rd, 4th and 5th September, the 3-day camp in Singapore will be the main event of FOC. Freshmen will go through various games in many plac [ ... ]
