Freshmen Orientation Camp (FOC) is another important event of VNNTU beside Independence Day Celebration. Held annually by its own committee, FOC expresses the warmest welcome to all Vietnamese Freshmen admitted to NTU. Additionally, this is considered as a great chance to further promote cohesiveness among Vietnamese students. Also, freshmen will take this camp as a first-hand challenge to start limitless networking potential and cross-disciplinary interactions.

With the view to supporting freshmen when they just arrive in Singapore, VNNTU offers strong orientation to Singapore and NTU campus life. It is the time all the freshies experience a 2-day camp, have fun together through a lot of games and join trips exploring Singapore. They are sure to have opportunities to make new friends with their fellows and seniors who could become their best friends during 3 or 4 years living here. Moreover, they will also get a broad view of all VNNTU activities organized in one academic year.

Right after FOC, Freshmen Welcome Night is a further step to make our new members feel that they are part of a great family, VNNTU. They have a chance to get to know the main activities of VNNTU, and at the same time, to interact with Vietnamese seniors, who share with them their useful experiences of studying and living in Singapore.
